The AMC-3C87F is a single width, full-sized Advanced Mezzanine Card with
exceptional processing performance and bandwidth, for
the latest wireless telecom applications. A total of nine 1GHz DSP cores and a Xilinx Virtex-5 SX95T FPGA
allow an application to be partitioned and optimised for the most effective utilisation of system resources.
A key feature of the AMC-3C87F is the dual
SFP sockets for optical interfaces to the FPGA. These
are typically used for CPRI or OBSAI fibre (fiber) optic interfaces, although many other options are possible.
Linked to these interfaces is a low jitter, highly flexible digitally controlled, VCXO based PLL circuit allowing a wide range of wireless synchronisation and distribution options including a low cost 1 PPS GPS clock.
