ETSI - European Telecommunications Standards Institute produces standards for Communications Technologies such as fixed and mobile radio, broadcast and internet technologies.

ETSI 300 119 specifies the engineering practice for racks, cabinets and subracks.

ETSI 300 019 specifies the environmental conditions and environmental tests for telecommunications equipment.

The ETSI specs are referenced during the design and qualification of CommAgility AMC cards to ensure that the product can stand up to the rigours of transportation, vibration, physical shock, temperature and humidity when integrated into the OEM carrier (chassis).
