LTE Small Cell Product Demonstration at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Duisburg, Germany, 25 February 2013 — mimoOn GmbH, a leading LTE software vendor for Small Cells and terminals, announced the availability of its LTE protocol stack (mi!SmallCellSTACK™) for Broadcom’s dual-mode small cell family of SoCs. Small Cell product developers now can turn to a robust, high-performing product that is designed and supported by mimoOn’s team of engineers, who have experience in designing products used by hundreds of millions of consumers around the world. mi!SmallCellSTACK™ was architected as a solution that is portable to almost any chipset and operating system.

According to Brian Meads, VP Marketing of mimoOn, “The stability of Broadcom’s BRCM617xx Series of devices was excellent – mimoOn engineers were able to bring up our mi!SmallCellSTACK™ to first call within 4 weeks. This says a lot about the quality of the products both teams are delivering. Customers will be able to bring out Small Cell products in the shortest time possible.”

Complementing the mi!SmallCellSTACK™ offering are a professional services team and the following optional products:
• mi!SmallCellSPECTRUM™, an advanced scheduler
• mi!SmallCellSON™, an integrated Self-Organizing Network agent from Eden Rock Communications
• mi!SmallCellVERIFY™, a test suite for validating small cell capabilities

mimoOn will be showing product demonstrations and hosting meetings at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from 25-28 February, 2013. The hospitality suite at the Grand Fira is in Hall 2, suite D60.
