The LTE Reference eNodeB is a pre-integrated system for R&D, including both hardware and software.

The reference design is flexible and customer-configurable, and will be useful to UE product developers, 4G/5G researchers and LTE network engineers. The software and hardware are fully integrated and tested, saving time and reducing risk.

It is based on CommAgility’s CA-K2L-RF2, a low-cost, high-performance ARM and DSP-based processing card with two wideband RF transceiver channels. The reference design also includes PHY and stack software, and example configurations for UE connectivity.
