CommAgility participates in leading-edge research projects, including the following.

5g carmen logo square smallCommAgility is one of the participants in the 5G-CARMEN project (5G for Connected and Automated Road Mobility in the European unioN). The project is coordinated by Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), and has obtained a total funding of 18.5 million euros. It will build a 5G-enabled corridor from Bologna to Munich to conduct cross-border trials of 5G technologies in three major use cases: vehicle manoeuvre negotiation (at various levels of automation), infotainment, and emission control. For more details, see https://www.5gcarmen.eu.

CommAgility is participating since July 2016 in a German project InVerSiV which is funded by EFRE.NRW. The project focusses on intelligent transport infrastructure for safe connected driving in the megacity. See detailed project information here in English and here in German

Coherent logo v2CommAgility participates in the COHERENT project, which is one of H2020 5G-PPP projects funded by European Commission. It aims to research, develop and showcase a unified programmable control framework for 5G heterogeneous radio access networks. The project uses CommAgility’s software products, SmallCellPHY LTE and SmallCellSTACK LTE protocol stack, and CommAgility’s AMC-K2L-RF2 hardware processing platform, for customisation to support the project goals, and to demonstrate the 5G COHERENT concepts.  For more details, visit the COHERENT website.
